The last of the summer fiddle competitions was held in Pembroke, in the Ottawa Valley, on Labour Day Weekend. Though I didn’t do as well as I had hoped in the competition, the jams I took part in at the fiddle campsite were amazing. Lots of fun! I got to see and play with my friends from St. Catharines – John, Cassandra and George. I also got a chance to play with the great Yvon Cuillerier – and performed his beautiful composition Gisele Waltz.
