An amazing thing happened to me on my 12th birthday. My parents organized a surprise birthday party for me! A large group of great fiddlers from the Niagara Old Time Fiddle Club came over to celebrate. The fiddle club has really been like family to me. There were 21 musicians (not all of them are in the picture) who showed up and many of them brought a guest. We played music, ate food, and talked all afternoon. It was an excellent day!
The evening of Sunday November 25th was very special indeed. I had the honour of playing with Wally Knash at his sold-out Olde Tyme Christmas Concert in St. Catharines.
It was wonderful and I loved playing with one of mentors, Wally!
